Common council authorizes the issuance and sale of $19,210,000 general obligation promissory notes. Ehlers public finance advisors gave a presentation on the sale stating "to fund various public projects most of which are being repaid by the taxpayer".
RESOLUTION NO. 24-020 states it is providing for the sale of General Obligation Promissory Notes, Series 2024A (the "Notes") for public purposes, including paying the cost of projects included in the City's Capital Expenditure Plan, including the construction of a municipal garage, facility improvements and equipment, street projects, park projects, stormwater projects, alley improvements, ambulance acquisition and TID
