Taxpayers would see approximately $190 per year increase in property tax per $100,000 value. September 12, 2024 the school gave a presentation to city council. Peter Hibner also talked about operational referendums, stating "We're in the fourth year of our current operational referendum, which was a five-year referendum. So a year from now we will be looking at coming back to the taxpayers unless something drastic happens at the state level and we're really not anticipating that but our commitment has always been that we're only going to spend what we need to."
